When people ask for "1 villa sanc" Dev reply it would be too laggy.
The main reason they are asking for it is so that they could coordinate their platoon much easier when they recall.
So it hit me, why not do just that.
Make it so that when someone recalls they go to the spawnroom that is nearest to the most platoon members.
So everyone in the same Platoon spawns at the same Villa, in the same Spawn room
Galaxy drivers will benefit most, because they can quickly and easily load troops.
What new players need most when they start PlanetSide is a friendly Galaxy to fly down where they spawn and pick them up.
It would be great to kick this off with the launch of AfterShock.
This will be a massive boost to organization and tactical aspects of PlanetSide.
So, what do you think? How would you be able to use this?

The Sanc was 1-Villa during the beta days, before all the major changes in structure to the game sometime during the beginning of open beta. The issue that they had with a 1-villa sanc was crowding and people crashing vehicles into each other.

I think it's a bad idea, only thing this solves is the lazyness of a few players, to walk a few meters to the teleport thingy that warps you from villa to villa, or as I call them, ghetto's.

Even then, half your guys are stuck on the other side of the villa, and have to walk
All told, with a good team of 30 people it's a solid 3 minutes before your ready to go.

I've gone with c22 before. Once the recall command is issued, it takes them 30 seconds to recall, and 60 seconds to gather and ready to roll in galaxies.
So if they can do it, so can anyone else.

or why don't people learn how to use the mini-warps?
its not that hard to run 50m and warp to the get you need to be at.
I have no problem with consilidating the villas it would be cool as you would acctualy see people in sanc more i would hope. But quit pulling reasons that current way is bad out of your ass.
With BH(one of the more lenghty downtime outfits, IE we get distracted easily) we can get 10 people to one warp in no time at all because we have discovered the beautiful things called "green triangle thingies"

Yep, you dont have to know what their called to use the "green triangle thingys". I use them all the time...they are instant and easy to use (Walk through them untill youre where ya want to go)

I don't see how a single villa sanc will be any more laggy or chaotic than a battle at Gunuku.

Vanu Corporation has "their" sanc village. Aways the same spot for pickup. It's not hard for people to use the little triangles to warp to it.

many idiots that play don't even know that the teleporters exist, so when i have to do it they always say:
PICK ME UP
PICK ME UP
PICK ME UP
etc.

what about make the villa large with ziplines (hey they could have got the tech from caverns) out to the vehical area and the spawn rooms near the hart area.

I started my PS career is a Galaxy, way back in the day.
Dunno how it is currently, but I imagine that transportation is still to easy to justify Galaxies outside of outfit organized ops.

yep and thats what i am practising to be but one thing i have seen is alot of people would rather foot zerg than get in when you are inside a CY.

Look at it this way.
All the outfits that can coordinate quick and effective Galaxy pickups,
Use Teamspeak or Ventrillo
Something which isn't included in the game itself.
With this new retail launch, we're goint to have a LOT more newbs in the game.
What I believe THEY need to see, in order to sell them on it, is Galaxies rolling up right next to the spawn rooms.
This would do just that.
It would also allow 'zerg squads' the pickup coordination of the best squads in the game.
That translates into rock solid fun for newbies :D

i think alot of outfits are goin to try and get as many of those no0bs into the fold as they can, nobody stayins in sacne anyway unless they are reading for a raid or something, they hart out right away. Thats the best way to fix the 'problem' make the hart timer 10 minutes again.
This games saving grace is the comunity organizations, without it this game would be totaly dead, there will be tons of /b's going out with recruiting stuff in them, thats were they will find organization, leading a platoon(effectivly) w/o TS is basicaly impossible anyway. I've tred it quite a few times. We need to promote ways of making sure noobs join up in established 'fits instead of something that is't a problem.
Those Gal pilots that were all over before and slowly die out did great just by putting out a /b and saying were they were

Come on, think about how awesome it would be if even zerg outfits started using Galaxies and group assaults.
