so are these extra-sol or not? and currently, to my knowlege, it is a bitch to find anything smaller than a gas giant in orbit around another star.

these are actually large asteroids, mostly in the belt between jupiter and mars

oh, thats lame. got my hopes up, thinking there has been some huge step foward in the search for planets (last i heard we have found 150 or so, most gas giants)

EDIT, the more i look at it, the more depressed i get, looking at all those gas giants with orbits less then .1 AU makes me very sad.
