Awesome. Always on the cutting edge. Although clean burning nuclear devices do scare me.

It's shit like this that gets the earth destroyed in a fraction of a second.

Pop Sci or MEc had an article on the microwave ray device a while back but cool none the less. The antimatter article was a great read. Cool finds

The Microwave gun heats up water in the skin causing excruciating pain. The pain stops immediately if you move out of the path of the microwaves, so it's great for crowd dispersal/herding. One thing I like about my job is getting to see all the cool project titles and their crazy budgets. The laser part of the Airborne Laser (http://www.boeing.com/defense-space/military/abl/flash.html) is being developed here in NM.

The one about the air force eliminating all opposition for space superiority sounds like the CoDominium minus Russia.

Speaking of Microwave weapons, I'm in debate and read about how NATO is developing devices that function like landmines, but instead of exploding, they vibrate a lot and "liquidate the victim's bowels". They're making these things in response to growing support for the Ottawa Landmine Ban Treaty.

Although clean burning nuclear devices do scare me.

It's not nuclear. nuclear involves the sliting of the nucleus of an atom here the particals ahnnihilate each other according to e = MC^2 (energy = mass x the speed of light squarde)

Thsi stuff realy isn't that new except the thign about the space plan of action

i was reading over at Bohica about these Neutron bombs, dunno how it works, exept that it doesnt harm buildings, i dont think ( i know for certain it doesnt destroy tanks), and obliterates organic life within its blast radius and everything on the outside of its radius gets a lethal dose of radiation and dies in a day or two, leaves no residual radiation like a normal nuke does.

It does do ALOT of damage w/ gamma rays, but there is stillalot of heat/concusive energey being dispersed, similar to an nuclear weapon, just no radioactive fallout afterwards

yea the stopping of neutron bombs was the awesome plot of Front Mission 4! (maybe 3 the PS1 game)
