View Full Version : Thanks for the Birthday Present, Fate. You whore.
Saturday: w00, B-Day partyyy. Yay, happy, w00t w00t.
Sunday: Oh my fuck, my cat died.
So, some drunkard next door saw my cat going about his garbage. Thinking it was a racoon (cat is dark grey, easy misconception) he picked up a brick, and hucked it at her.
Shattered her pelvis and lower spinal cord.
We took her to the vet, but the cost to save her was around the 5000$ mark, and would lead to complications (arthritis, etc)
So, we had to put her down. Thanks a lot, fate, you bitch. :(

Well as long he seriously thought it was a Raccoon then I don't think he's at fault, he was trying to kill what he thought was a rodent.
2 wrong don't make a right.
Do you honestly believe that?

That sucks Spee, sorry to hear it. I had a really hard time accepting the death of my dog and that was from natural causes, I can't imagine how upset I would have been if my neighbor had done something that stupid and ended up killing my pet. :(
Lone, stop being a twat.

Anyway, I'm sure cat heaven is nice.

You can say that again...
And yes it was the idiot's fault. You don't friggen pelt an animal with a brick for scavenging in your garbage. I don't care what it is. And certainly you don't act without checking first. The guy's a moron.
In fact I have a story of my own: My dad and I had been noticing that our cat's food holder kept getting empty much too quickly (we had an outdoor cat back then). So one night we were looking outside and this raccoon comes over and starts eating my cat's food. So, not being fucktards like that guy, we take out NERF WEAPONS!! and start shooting it with soft, foam arrows/balls. It ran away and never showed up again. So my suggestion is ring the guy's doorbell and when he answers it, greet him with a master blaster to the face. Only use an 8 ball.

Kill the fucking neighboor
He deserves pain.
Seriously, he killed a cat by "mistake", because he was trying to kill a raccoon

Same way it's wrong if you're hunting, and you see something move in a bush, and you shoot it, and it turns out to be a kid.
You should make sure what something is before you shoot it.

Yeah that's hunting, not walking on the porch one afternoon. Besides there is a BIG difference between shooting a kid and Raccoon.

Sorry to hear you lost your cat. That freaking sucks.
As for Lonehunter: Not even on the OF are people so mean about something like this. You aren't even near their level in decency.

well.. is there anything you can do to the guy? does he have anything worth taking via the court of law? If so, thats too bad. The cat was on his property :(. I feel for you man. I really do. I dont know what I would do if my Dog was murdered. I would probably get a lawer and try anyway. Good luck.

I'm sorry to hear about your kitty :(
I'd give you one of mine to make you feel better, but their leetness would engage a leet-shield preventing me from transferring ownership :(

Sue his ass for absolutely every count you can. Cruelty to animals comes to mind.
Seriously. You now have a mission. If you don't do everything in your power to put the legal and financial hurt on this guy, I'll never forgive you.
And make sure you let him know it was your birthday, too.

2 wrong don't make a right.
Some serial rapist breaks into your house to rape your girlfriend, and you shoot him, resulting in his death. Booyah, 2 wrongs just made a right.
Or in this case, an drunk asshole killed your cat, you sue him for destroying your property, and for the suffering you had because he killed it, just give him a lot of financial trouble, and if that doesn't work out, you can still knock his block off at some point.

That's not really 2 wrongs, just the 1 from the rapist.

I'm with EarlyDawn here. It would be teh easy to sue him for emotional damages. You could make thousands. I'm dead serious about this. Sue the motherfucker!

Im gonna cry if my cat dies. I love the lil guy. :(
anyway, the only real way to heal emotional wounds is to take it out on other people, so take a brick and chuck it at the guy's spinal cord. youll feel alot better

It would cost him as much as he could possibly get out of the case just to take it to court. Sorry about that though:(. My condolences(sp?).

Principle of proportionality: hit him with a wrecking ball- that is pretty much what it feels like for a cat to get hit by a brick.

I was commenting on the fact that the guy was trying to kill a RACCOON! So, here is the rephrase.
"What is wrong with trying to kill a raccoon with a brick?" is what was meant. Now if he knew it was your cat then yeah shoot the guy's kneecaps.
At least sue him for property rights on the brick.
