The Redsox travel to the House that Ruth Built tonight, tomorrow the Astros take on the Cardnials in St. Louis...

This is it Baseball fans, the final round before the Big Show. Whose gonna make it, whose gonna fall?

New York is obviously the favored team in the AL, with thier high payroll and powerful offense, they are here for a reason.

But, the BoSox are ready, and they carry the wieght of dealing the "evil Empire" the defeat half the baseball fanbase wants to see, its a heavy burden... will they carry through or crack?

In the NL, well... St.Loius is the heavy favorite to take it. You cannot win 107 Games, win the NLDS 3-1 and get to face the Wild Card team and not have that luxary. St. Louis has one heck of a good team.

Houston, if you follow baseball, what that team has done, is impressive, that they FINALLY made it past the first round of the playoffs... wow. But has all the strain drained thier tanks, or do they have what it takes to get past the redbirds?

Mr. Vicchio's Predicition:

Bosox in 7

Astros in 6

Astros over BoSox in 7 for the World Series.

I'm fucking sick of my damn Atlanta Choke Artists always fucking up in the playoffs after a great regular season. I need a new team... *sigh* Go Boston, I guess. As long as it ain't the Yankees.

Cards over Houston in 5

Sox over yanks in 7

Cards win the series in 6

I think the sox can win tonight with schilling pitching. Game 2 with pedro I'm not so sure, he's been rather shaky against the yankees. And if they win atleast 1 of 2 at yankee stadium, the 3 game sweep at fenway isn't out of the question with the yankees weak pitching.

The curse is still here, and it won't be lifted until the Patriots suck again.

Sorry! Only one winning team per city! :)

the yanks always tend to do better then the sox in the playoffs, but we're really lacking starting pitching this year, so Im not really sure whos gonna win at all.

Isn't it 8-7 Yanks in the 8th right now?

If so...

GO BOSOX!

10-7 now. Indeed Redsocks rule.

As for the other two, i'd like to see the Cardnals go for a win, mainly because tehy beat the Dodgers who i hate (because they shut out the Giants)

Dude, Astros have Brandon Backe Pitching Game 1... young, rookie pitcher... pitching the biggest game of his life... I hope he keeps his emptions in check and brings his "A" game.

I thought pettite wasn't on the roster. Some kind of injury?
