Against leaders of the school? Why is that bad? Do people have to blindly follow authority figures?

Seems like more of a personal grudge to me. Its stupid. He's just going to get a kid kicked out. Colleges aren't going to take that crap like a public highschool would, obviously.

Actually, they probably would since students pay them.

Yeah, but they have plenty more students lined up to take their place. They don't care who it is, someone else can fill their spot.

Would you guys shut up and read the friggin article:
DEL MAR, Calif. - Michael Moore promised to endow a scholarship at California State University, San Marcos, the same campus where administrators canceled his scheduled appearance because of what they called his partisan politics.
The "Fahrenheit 9/11" filmmaker addressed about 10,000 people off campus Tuesday night at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, promising $5,000 per academic year to a student who "stands up the most to the administration of Cal State San Marcos."
"I hope to encourage students in the future to do the true American thing and stand up for what they believe in," said Moore, who was accompanied on stage by folk singer Joan Baez. They sang "America the Beautiful" together.
About 200 demonstrators gathered outside the entrance to the fairgrounds. A few were removed from the audience when they tried to disrupt Moore's talk, said San Diego sheriff's Lieutenant Don Fowler.
The student government raised more than $40,000 to pay for Moore's visit after University President Karen Haynes revoked last month Moore's invitation to the school.
Haynes said she canceled Moore's appearance because the state was prohibited from spending state money on partisan political activity, and that she did not believe there would be enough time to find a speaker whose opinions could balance Moore's liberal views. She welcomed him back after the November presidential elections.
Moore accused her of bowing to Republican pressure. He vowed to donate about $20,000 that he earned from the event to the "hellraiser" scholarship.
Moore produced the film, "Fahrenheit 9/11," a documentary the criticizes the policies of the Bush administration following the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
He's giving kids money for college - FYI, in terms of college tuition, $5000 is a lot. You all hear "Michael Moore" and shit your pants. Relax.

Would you say the same if Ann Coulter did that? I find it doubtful.
Better just move it to PolDeb, it's headed for it pretty quick.

He's giving money to the person who fucks with the college the most. Who would most likely get kicked out of said college.

Honestly I could care less who it is. Its stupid, and is only going to get kids in trouble and maybe kicked out.

You realise who you're talking to here?
I'll be $120K in debt when I graduate from college. If Ann Coulter were to give me $5k a year, you bet your ass I'd take it.

What does it matter about money for a scholarship when you're kicked out of the college
