"What company where you most in 10 six?"

that doesn't even make any sense.

It probably makes sense if you played the game?

I was on the beta for 10six. It was kinda cool at first but it lost my interest quickly.

Is the game still going on?

Yea it was one of the most innovative games of all time. and the races were companies.

so why exactly was 10six so great? just because it was innovative?

It was innovative yes but it was still a pretty damn good game to play when it got right down to it. If it had more exposure I think it could have been alot bigger. Unfortunately I stopped playing soon after the beta ended. It was still really fun. You'd set up large facilities and research weapons. It was like a FPS and warcraft all rolled into one but with the scale of something like PS but not neccesarily PS itself. Bunch of people communicating with eachother, forming alliances and what not. When I first saw the background for Planetside it seemed alot like 10six. Different "corporations" as opposed to different empires. Battle for supremacy of a continent but in PS's case it's on a much grander scale.

If 10Six had stayed afloat i would have paid for it and played it, but alas, it was a crying shame the heat.net went down.

I know this a dead topic but I used to love 10six. While I no longer play I would point out that some of the major members of the community at the time actually bought the rights to the game after it was scrapped.

It is now maintained as Project Visitor

It is largely the same game. Some of the original Corp Lords employed when the game was on heat.net are actually some of the developers for the game now. WrathX comes to mind.
