I'm getting one for christmas... I need a new PS2, this comes with the Network Adaptor built in... seems like a good enough deal.

Yeah, only downside is the lack of expansion bay for HDD. I don't play FFXI though, so I might get this. If they come out with an official LCD I probably will. I don't really trust the 3rd party ones.

Yeah... likewise, that doesn't bother me... if the harddrive had some other use then FFXI I would be skeptical but... it doesn't so I don't care.

If there is ever soemthing that needs the HardDrive OTHER then FFXI I think it is very possible that Sony or a third party company would release an external HardDrive.
