Well, first off let me appologize for not being around. I've been in Beverly Hills for the past week, and otherwise busy with School. :eek:.

Anyways, on with the thread.

So, just 2 days after the Skyrocker aircraft lawndarted and the pilot was killed (R.I.P.), i decided to head out to the 2004

Miramar Air Show. It was overcast as hell, and there were patches of rain throughout the show, but aside from the poo weather the

show was awesome. I've been coming ever since i was 3, and i havent missed a show since. Not a single show. There are

pics below, taken with my Canon Powershot A80. I will answer any questions you have, but the captions should tell you all you need

Awesome pics. My dad was stationed in Camp Pendleton when he was a marine, he has never been in a CH46 (SeaKnight), but he did ride in a CH53 alot (the one you see in DC).

How crowded is your airshow btw? the airshow (Ft. Lauderdale Air and Sea show) down here has about a million people, soo crowded.

Read the thread numbnuts. I was getting a hotdog when Fat Albert did the JATO takeoff. I was so pissed when i didnt have my camera with me. I saw it, but no pics.

Seeing a C-130 flying at what looks like an impossible angle being powered by JATO rockets always gives me a hardon.

C130s while they may look cool to you they are the bane of my existance.

I fly out of Schenctady County Airport where the Air National Guard flys C130 "Skiers" to the arctic and the north pole. These C130s have special skis mounted on the landing struts, sure it may be cool to you but try landing a c152 behind a behemoth like that. Wind vortecies for the lose!

Every year we have an airshow at the national guard base. Last year we had a high speed low alt pass of a B2 spirit. It also went to Rensalear Polytechnic Institute for a fly by an hour later acording to news. Blue Angles always there, so is the GeeBee racer plane. I love air shows... but I want to BE an airshow. Please stand by for that.
