Does anyone but me notice greif points go down too slow? ist like if you use all the weapons that help u collect greif points and seem to always be drivin into people and when you hit 1000 and the wep locks are so annoying and well I've been in the 1000 zone for a while now. im tryin my best but some morons always jump in front of me as if they want to get TKed. Anyone but me think the greif shud go down a tad quicker?

Personally, I've never seen the problem with grief. Maybe it's just me, but I've used all of the "grief machines" (Anti-Infantry Pounder, Plasma Thumper, and Maelstrom), and I've never really gotten above 250... maybe it's just me...

I use special assault as my primary weapon and I have never gotten over 700 grief and that is just when I was just learning to use it.

Whenever I get ahold of a malestrom, I get 500 Grief, 'specially when there are guys who seem to like jumping in front of me when I am firing up a hallway at the backdoor. So, I get pissed and rape them with it, and get 100 grief. They die, I keep killing with the malestrom, bada bing bada boom I get a BR in one night.

Then there is the problem where I blew up an enemy BFR near a Friendly AMS killing everyone near the AMS. 1345 Grief just from that.

And for all those who like to go rambo on a BFR, and go right in his shields in my way wileding Decimators, dont bitch when you get your ass blown to bits ;)

I've recieved 800 grief at once before. back in the day, after about a month of playing, I'm in a Tech CY. Two Prowlers are just chillin there, with little health I might add. a Magrider strolls in, so I pull out my Rocklet, and I end up getting the kill shot, wich blew up the Mag, and blew up the two Prowlers, wich were both fully maned, instant 800 grief+Weapons lock.

I don't know how many people can get so much greif. The highest I've ever got is around about 60.

malestrom, dumbasses, thumper, bad choices, "oh.. that hallway is full of OUR guys", panicing, BFRs, Grenades, Boomers, etc.

I've never had a problem with grief. You just need to be less trigger-happy.

Heres a funny story.

Many may be aware how on the test server during the testing of the BFRs the Devs, if logged on, would reset your grief to zero if you asked them to since they knew everyone was getting alot of grief with the BFRs. Well I've been playing since beta testing of planetside and had never gotten over 700 grief on the public servers. So anyways on the testserver I had about 500 grief and since no Devs were on at the time I made an appeal about my grief asking if it could be reset assuming that the CSRs would also be aware of the problem and be willing to help. However while I was typing my appeal I was in my BFR standing in the courtyard and a friendly TR decided to park his Lodstar ontop of me and my BFR, understandably he wasn't having alot of success due to the large profile of a BFR, causing my grief to very quickly fly up to 1800. Thats not a typo either. Fortunatly Samhayne came on a short while afterwards so he reset it for me.

Imagine if that had happened on the public servers. I'ed have to not play for a week before I would be able to play normally again.

I don't usually have problems with grief. I try to use explosives only when necessary and when I used my flail I'd make sure that my targeter knew what he was doing.

One guy I had sighting for me saw a bunch of people on a hill and got all excited. So he lazed them and told me to fire away. I got 5 shots off and was waiting for them to land (I was about 4 grid blocks away) before he suddenly said "Don't shoot! Those are friendlies!" Too bad they didn't get the message in time =(

I never get over 50 grief.

Except for this one time, back in the dIZZay when you didn't auto-drive off a vehicle terminal. Some asshole got a Sunderer and loaded a squad in there, then sat at the foot of the ramp while they figured out where to go.

Meanwhile I'm in a tank and my crew gets on board and then we get that auto-deconstruct message. So we started macro'ing MOVE MOVE MOVE. The dude stayed there, so we rammed them. Which had a tendency of blowing up vehicles when you mash them against the support beams for the overhead catwalks. I got 1058 in grief, I think was the final number. It was over a thousand.

The hate tells were thick, but I just kept replying that the driver was actually at fault and it was a glitch. :D

After my first, VERY unsuccessfull, attempt at using SA, I had about 700 grief and dropped the cert 'cause I suck with it. Anyways, to let my grief go down a bit, I decided to be dedicated Prowler driver for a bit. Well, in a 1 on 1 with a vanny on Ish, my gunner was kicking his ass, took him down to 1/4 pretty quick and he started to retreat, I went up over a hill to try to cut him off, and well, ran head on into a very busy friendly AMS that was under heavy Phoenix barrage (sp?). I took out the AMS and about 20 friendlies around it, launching my grief to well over 1400, weapons lock and a "suspension" due to all the /reports and /appeals for excessive TKing I got. Took me about a week of e-mails to get them to let me play again.
