It's like there's a culture out there that has a chicken only as a pet and not a food. They'd view our eating habits as gross, too.

I have a friend in the US who's eaten guinie pig. Apparently it's pretty good once you get over the "it used to be cute and fuzzy" part.

I'd probably try it once, too. If for no other reason that to see the look on people's faces when I tell them I've eaten Guinea Pig.

oooh... imagine taking my 8-year old cousin to the pet store. She says, "Angie look at the cute Guinea pigs!". I of course reply, "They're delicious grilled on a bed of greens." And I'd laugh as I watched her run away screaming, with tears in her eyes.

Actually, she'd laugh and think I was kidding. Until that night, when I serve dinner :evil:
