Photoshop project (may be NWS)

Faint of heart abstain from coming into this thread, I have this project for a class I take on the side from my job (not yet into college but I'm harnessing my skills and money before I'm going).

Our "teacher" gave the whole class an enveloppe with a zip-disk on it wich contained images of war and from there we had to do this:

1. Theme: War.
2. Had to use all the images given to make one provocative image.
3. We had to have a small piece of text received in the enveloppe.
4. Black and white.

I received:

1. Hitler saluting
2. Statue of liberty
3. American flag
4. Swastika
5. Mass grave from WWII (Might be NWS)
6. The sentence: United we fall...

Here is what I have done with the images to reflect on a future had we not won the 2nd world war. It's not supra-realistic but to my eyes it IS provocative enough for my teacher to shut his pie-hole and accept this project wich I did not want to do (due to the mass grave). What do you think of it? Spaced out to not be seen on the same page.

I recommend making the hitler/statue of liberty thing less obvious, for example, putting a faded picture of hitler beside the unaltered Statue of liberty.

i'd put the origainal statue of liberty back together but put its amr in the salute thing somehow, then have a faded hittle in the back in a mimicking pose.

I'd also leave the stars in it comunicates natzi's power over the 50 stats better. As if they did take us over the states are a reasonably effecient subdivision, and probably would have been left in place

but i would put it over the stars instead of having the stars over it

I did actually laugh whilst making that part... but then I opened the mass grave file and stopped laughing pppprrreeettttyyy quickly.

Yeah that's understandable. I know I'm all desensitised from all the shit I've seen in movies and on TV, but those pictures still have a profound effect on me.

Bah don't go all nuts over this most people in my class got some sort of macabre picture(s). It's the first project like that... most projects aside from that one were happy go lucky pieces of crap. This one is just plain crap.

My teacher needs to actually know what photoshop is... :doh: he "teaches" from a book.
