MY HEAD HURTS!!! Ok, calm down.....

I know that I have been very pro TR and anti NC/VS. After doing some thinking, I found that the only reason I liked TR was the colors and their potential greater numbers. Then I looked at the Gauss and Jackhammer the NC have and started drooling. The TR just dont have anything that looks as good. If all the sides had equal numbers, I would join NC. But I am a pussy and dont want to be on the side that has the least number of people. Acording to the official pole, wich ended a few weeks ago, the TR had the most folowers and the NC had the least. If there is anything you can say to help calm me headache of wether to go NC or TR, than please say it.

P.S. Sorry Vanu, I am not considering you. I just wont be seen in purple spandex.

Personally, I view it as more of a challenge to be on the side with the least amount of people. That's actually one of the reasons I chose the NC. However, the main reason you should go NC is the large number of well organized outfits on the NC side; it's amazing how many good-looking NC operations there are. In my opinion, that will make a bigger difference than the TR's superior numbers. Also, how can you say no to the Gauss?

By listening to that poll you are a foo, 75% of the people who are going to play PS never voted in that poll. According to the laws of statistics it doesn't matter, they would have came out the same, but we aren't talking about that. SJ said the Dev team is pretty evenly distributed, but there are definatly more NC. If the guys who made the game are picking NC, what does that tell you?

my guess about the gause is that it will have the largest recoil out of any of the rifles. Thats kinda a given though otherwise it would be to good. The Vanu's main advantage and what makes me consider being them is that they will have very little recoil. Pulling off a series of shot could be easier with the pulsar then the gause. The cycler looks like the future of tomiguns and that scope could be useful until everyone else gets the scope implant.

I think the Vanu rifle will be amazing because it will make bad shots better and good shots great.

But what the hell do i know I'm just your local everyday spiderman:D

The polls don't really mean anything. There are a lot of people that didn't vote, some people that voted twice, I'm sure. And, you don't know how the numbers will be distributed among the servers. The European server might have 75% of all the TR, leaving them in the smallest numbers on all the other servers. So, no one can have any idea what populations are going to look like.

well truly statistically speaking, the poll would have a large amount of error due to that only those that are involved in this video games could respond. And that only those that cared enough to respond did. This means that the poll was done by the few who are really really into this game. However, since there is a larger % of the total people willing to respond, and finding the main site than there are in normal areas of similar error, it would give you less % error in that area that normal.

So in the end, it is a good poll to show us what the current community is going for, but with so many people not exposed to the poll from shear not knowing about the site, we can not get accurate results.

Who knows, the TR could be outnumbered 10 to 1 by the vanu 2 weeks after the game is out. I doubt it, but it could happen.

A) You and your friendly NC buddies backed up in a corner of an enemy base plowing down lines and lines of little red coat pansies with that tripple barrol shot gun...

Or

B) Standing all the way in the back of this huge smelling army waiting to get a turn to follow the oppressive order of your ugly comander and get killed, then have to wait 1 hour to respawn cus there are so many people on your team the Matrix Toobs are jammed!

Or

C) Wear bright purpel and run around in a larege field so NC snipers can shoot at your feet.

well, you can't really go by polls that much. Look at the latest poll on this board.... the NC dominated the which empire to you like the most poll, with the TR being in last place. Polls don't mean much of anything.

Word up, the NC brings devestating firepower, decent armor and mobility and skilled players to the table. I have a feeling that the numbers are gonna be split almost evenly and you won't notice if one team has a numerical advantage. The programers are picking NC, the artists are picking VS and the customer relations dude are picking TR, that is what I understood.

see! artists are gay, and they're goin purple VS! whaddya know? JK. Also, the gauss has a slower fire rate than the cycler, and "Using magnetic field technology, the Gauss assault rifle combines standard combustion-based ammunition with a magnetic field that boosts the actual projectile speed when fired" so it uses the same ammo as the repeater (probably) and simply fires the bullets at a faster translating speed. so it should have less recoil, not more, than the cycler.
