DAMMIT!!!!!!! I honestly have no idea why I must always put myself through such torture!!!!

I went out with my girlfriend tonight to the movies (NO! THIS IS NOT A LIFE ISSUE THREAD! well maybe). I asked her what movie she wants to see. As I predicted she wants to go see "The Grudge". I went to movies with her tonight with the slightest hope the movie would be full on opening night and we could then go see another movie instead. But no! the fucking bitch at the counter assured us we could get in the next showing at 9:15. At this point already as im handing the stupid bitch my money im scared shitless.

FUCK YOU ALL! IM A PUSSY WHEN IT COMES TO HOOROR FLICKS! I can stand watching teen slasher movies like Scream and Halloween. But when we start to throw in Ghosts and demons into the mix, im gonna start to shit bricks.

So I buy 3 Coffee crisps. Because they are crunchy and good for drowning out the sounds during the messy parts, and a large pop so I can take a large piss during the movie and have an excuse to leave for 10 mins.

We also HAD to go to the better theater (AMC 24) so they were no bad seats and I wouldn't be able to grab a seat behind some fat guy or tall guy.

Let me tell you! The grudge is fucking scarry!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! AUGH! Those damn dead asian kids!!!! I can't get them outta my head!!!! They're black eyes stare right into!!!!!:scared:

So fucking freaky! I don't even want to talk about it anymore!!! So scary!

If you'll all excuse me. Im gonna crank up my music and spend the next 4 hours playing RTW.

I think we need another love thread! With carebears and barney and other happy things. That way I can burn the images of the movie outta my head and I can stop thinking about those eyes!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOO!!!! FUCK! SHIT! ASS!!!!!!!

OMG! FUCK YOU!!!!!! IM GONNA KICK MY FIREND'S CAT TMMOROW WHEN I GO TO HIS PLACE. That shit was soo scray you have no idea. Seeing that was the reason I didn't want to go see the movie. Trust me though! It gets worst than that!

you konw what I always wonder in movies like that? Where are the guns? Have you ever wondered what would happen if you blew a ghost's head off? the ghosts in this movie arent like conventional ones. they look like people, only terribly mutated.

I feel really bad for you sometimes, like when you say you have to hide the fact that you're a gamer.

Just let it all out man! You'll find a hot chick who appreciates that about you, and will be considerate of your fears of horror movies!

I get freaked out fairly easily, too. But, in some sort of cruel metal masochistic twist, I very much enjoy getting the piss scared out of me. IN retrospect, anyways.

Ex: I just finished watching the ring. Theres always a TV thats on in my bedroom, but on auxillary(no cable.) So, for about a month, I would nervously look behind me to make sure nothing was crawling out of my TV, every so often.

And more recently, I have to go to the basement to get my clothes for the day. My mom was gone for 3 days, and we live in a HUGE house. 2200 sq. ft. And theres no fixed lighting, meaning the house gets dark as all hell at night. I had just finished watching the trailer of SAW, where the killer leaps out at the guy in the dark, after he uses a camera flash to light the room up.

Now, just for imagry's sake, the room where I acquiesce my clothes has the furnace right in the middle of the room. Theres a small path leading around the furnace. Pefect hiding spot. :scared:

Just tell yourself repeatedly that it's not real. That's what I used to do (for EVERYTHING on TV that scared me, even if it was), after a while you become desensitised to any sort of film horror (which sucks tbh).

I'm telling you, if you have a good relationship, telling your girlfriend you want to skip out on the horror movies shouldn't be a big deal. Especially if you cushion it with an offer to take her to see something non-scary soon.

yeah... the grudge looks feaky, i even have a hard tim watching the ad... i dont know why, i just have a hard time watching those movies, i can watch stuff like Signs and The Village (pretty fucked up movie, got of a disapointment) But yeah... i would never see The Grudge, kinda freaky
