In regaurds to the Beta Code email issue, I got a response:
Head back to http://planetside.station.sony.com/beta/confirm_code.jsp and
find the sentence that says, "If you have lost your confirmation code or
never received the email with it included, then click here." Go ahead and
click "here" to proceed to the resubmit confirmation code page. You'll be
asked to enter your email address (you can try a different email at this
point). Enter the email address and click the Email Code button.
Please let me know if you're still having problems. Thanks!
Danny
Not really inspired, but hey a response is a response.
I told him I fixed the issue by creating a new login... worked for me.

That's pretty much the advice that we have been giving people. I'm glad to know that we have been suggesting the same thing Sony is.
Maybe Hamma will post it as news.

What address did you email to get a response.
I didn't realize that you needed a 64 meg graphics card when I submitted my application. Today I bought a GeForce4 Ti 4400 (128 MB). (I already had the ram and the processor speed)
I want to get in touch with them so I could possibly update my Beta application. (Maybe as simple as sending them a new DXDiag.txt file).
So who did you email that actually gave you a response?

There is a link on the code input screen that lets you contact them.

I'm not too impressed with the copy/paste when that was a site problem that I hope is being addressed. Let's hope this isn't how customer service, site issues, or servers problems are dealt with in the future. Oh, how I love thee copy and paste.

Well, if you had 1000 emails.. you probably would not respond to each one individually either :p

...But, I would state something about the amount of traffic on the site, why the confirmation code emails were not working, or say that I'm looking into the issue and to keep trying via the way the email stated. Just stating the obvious concerns people like me who will only play a game with great customer service...not just some copy/paste late emails about things I already know. Again, my concern is for the future when a hundred thousand, or more, gamers are trying to access sites, servers, etc., and can't get anything but a copy/paste answer days after the initial problem.
On the other hand, it's early and maybe they didn't have the resources or didn't expect a few thousand requests for the Beta sign-up in the first couple of days.

At least you got a responce.
I sent in an e-mail at the end because I wanted to make sure my app went through ok. Everything I typed was invisable. I could only see if it was typed in correctly by high lighting the text i had just typed.
It was like that in all the drop down menus too. I could only see my choice while I was selecting it. Soon as I let go of the menu the box turned white.
I just figured that because I couldn't see anything in the boxes, that it didn't know where to send the e-mail to, but when I got it it had some of the info that I put durring the application process so I didn't worry too much.
All in all though I have to agree that the Beta Application didn't go over as smooth as they would have liked, and I'm surprised that they haven't given us anything "Official" to post about the issues people are having.
