From when I cancelled my account 8 months ago, it looks like everything good in a game happens when I leave. :(
So I was just thinking about signing up for a new account and try playing it again and would like to know what changes have taken place and which the lag/bug issues are fixed.
BTW, would it work on this system?
Radeon 9200 (128MB)
Athlon XP 2800
ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe
512MB DDR

It's still got the same basic elements, but the new tactics due to new vehicles may take some getting used to. Oh, and you'd need another 512MB of RAM

So people still work together and have fun? When I left it was mainly because I missed hotdropping (is that a word?) on NC bases. Just the thrill of doing that in a gal.

Dropping on Bases isnt the normal thing to do anymore because people in this game have grown so accustomed to a gal drop and how to fuck it up fast. The game has given way to convetional battles that rage outside the base untill one force overpowers (usally whomever destroys the first few BFRs) and pushes into the base. At that point changing the battle into the defenders favor is quite hard. I have yet to see it done. Gal drops still happen especialy if you join outfits like C22. They do them all the time.
The game has drasticaly changed with BFRs.

The game has drasticaly changed with BFRs.
I was deliberately ignoring the current state, because, as many people have said, I don't think that BFRs will be a lasting change. Yes they'll still be used in a couple of months, but not nearly as many will be in use as there are now... I hope.
