Friend needs help with PS

A friend of mine who is currently awaiting forum activation needs some help. This is his message:

Hi people, When ever i goto Launchpad, it takes ages for the patcher to initialize (just started happening today), and also, when its done patching after around 10 mins, when i click play, it comes up, then when its logging me in, it always says 'Disconnected' please help!

You are probubly best off contacting technical support, or clicking the "chat" button on the launchpad, going in to general, and looking for someone with a blue name.

- Does he have 52k modem or broadband?

Try uninstalling the game, then reinstaling it, could be an instalation error

+ 3zz3, if you can, copy your PS onto his PS, so he has all the new patches.
