Must have been bad- Dems took a BIG hit:
1. They lost a CLOSE race for the White House.
2. They lost seats in Congress.
3. Daschle out.
4. Edwards out. ("If Kerry were elected, people like Christopher Reeve would walk again!")
5. Now that all the judges are old and dying, it is possible that Bush will get to replace them.
I only remember one race where my favorite lost, Dole v Clinton, but we all knew it was lost.
Some retardos were rubbing it in to the Dems at school- I preferred the humorous, less-abrasive approach:
"HOW 'BOUT THEM ********?"

We are fucked now with the way things are going anyways, once bush is done we will be engaged in every country in the world. Everyone will be required to read teh bible 2 times a day. And people who have sex before they are married will have their genitals removed.
Forcing Christian values for the win!
Oh yea, I'd rather have Optimus as my pres :p

Nah, I think Switzerland's got it's shit worked out pretty well. I can't imagine a country that's - gasp - neutral. That - gasp - takes care of it's home instead of stick it's fingers in other people's pies.
Also, the men who serve their mandatory military time get to keep the assault rifle. If that's not reason enough, well...

Meh...In my warped sense of politics...
Bush may force me to leave the nation. Kerry would have done it better...
I really don't want to live in Europe, so Cancun Mexico sounds good to me.

Don't even joke. I posted a link to the Canadian Immigration page in my profile on a lark, and I've had at least 20 people IM me (60% of them were people I didn't know, stalkers) who thanked me for providing them with information they need to get out of here.
It's scary, but a lot of people are simply fed up, and think that the country has a long way to go down before they'll ever accept anything to help it recover.

Yeah, but you have that whole 24 hr. night time thing in Sweeden. But I'm getting better at French, so maybe I could go to Switzerland (Geneva's beautiful this time of year).

Stick it out- we withstood 8 years of Clinton.
Just because you lose doesn't mean you quit- you stay and fight harder.

This is twice now that I've heard people imply that the Clinton Administration was on par with, or worse than, Bush's.
I'm not going to lay it all out because I'm tired - but the bottom line is, Clinton got a blow job. That's what tarnished his image. Clinton's approval ratings from the American people were astronomical before his personal life got brought out. 84% of Americans were pleased with what he did with the economy and foreign relations. He left with a big ass surplus, a strong economy, and he made more progress with Israel and Palestine than any other President has before in US history.
I don't mean to be rude, but read your history books.

Maybe, but still, you don't retake the White House by running to Canada.
By the way, I think Switzerland uses the SIG 550.
