Ok here it is:
I played PlanetSide back in 2003 on same PC system(exepct video card) and on same internet connection, all went fine.

Now when i switch any surface(island), i get or "You Have Left The World" or "Connection problem" and then "You Have Left The World".
My connection is stable external cable modem 750kbps that connects to my PC trought network card.
I tryed everything(upon SOE agents told me):
1. Remove everything from startup
2. Remove Antivirus
3. Scan and remove Spyware.
4. Reinstall LaunchPad

Nothing helps. I sent em a mail containing my PS connection info with pathpings data and tracert data.....no response for 2 days now :(
I dont know what to do :( i cant even play normally in squard or platoon :(

Anyone know what i need to do? Maybe game options? Its medium-low atm, and bandwidth settings are high.(i need to restart PS for settings to take effect?)

Please help me!! I can post here tracerts and pathping data if needed :(

alot of thse errors go unanswered becasue we have no answer, for some reason you ae losing you rconnection, this is probably do the the way PS works, not and your end.

you have posted this on the tech forum at planetside.com right, they may have the answer scence they are the ones who made the game

try deleting all of your .list files in ur planetside folder along with your machine.ini file then restart PS, that worked for me

tryed, same thing.

Ok i just contacted my ISP spent like 5$ for phone call from celluar phone(like 20 mins conversation).
We ran ALL possible network tests, all things are running not just fine, GREAT. I get a 70ms ping to Werner atm from Israel(usually its 100-110). We even did all possible combinations with network settings. Then why in the hell it drops me?

PS fan club?

p.s. im dunno how but i just got into game and switched 4(!!!!) surfaces without a single prob!
Sanc=>Amerish=>Sanc=>Cyssor=>Sanc

Dunno what i have done but heres what i done:
1. Change the connection settings, some option called device type of something like that, changed from L2PT to PPTP.
2. Removed all network cables(powers, network card cable, cable) from PC and modem, waited 15 mins and plugged back in.

Hope it`ll keep it up :)

**SOLVED**

Added more RAM to make it 512 and issue gone, it was a RAM issue, 256 couldnt load all fast so server thought i lost connecting and was droppin me.
