View Full Version : I Need An Adult!
...And by that, I mean suggestions/links for a new case.
The case I ordered from Amamax didn't go through, and, as I've noticed, reputable case-makers generally fit all the criteria I want.
Criteria, even though this doesnt matter:
Black, Silver, or white color.
450+w PSU.
NO side-panel features. Ventilation holes, etc.
Space in the front for fans.
And so, If you all could mention some names here, I'd be greatful. I -really- wanna get this peice of crap off my desk and be able to play more demanding games =/

Oh, for the record, can't be over 60$. I need a case, but am not willing to sacrifice any of the componants for something that just looks vaguely pretty.

seriously i think you should go rackmount.
the price limit rules out lian li.
i'd also like to point out that i spend more than that on my power supplies alone, and you should consider doing the same

Get something from antec.
My friend spent like $80 (CDN dollars so it should level out there.)
it has no side fans or bs like that, but it has a bunch of ventilation things at the front, and the racks are those screwless mounts.
Very cool case.

My review of Sonata http://www.thzclan.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2336
Thanks for all those who replied, but, because of MattxMosh being my personal hero, he recommended this:
http://xpcgear.com/silverhawkcase.html
Which, more or less gets all the req's out fo the way. And now, that I've calculated it out, Im 100$ under-budget, so, Ill prolly spend it on rediculous things. Like gas for my car, or -gasp- put it in the bank!

Hehe, a virgins computer case.
According to the site, it's actually brushed aluminum, and not white.
I dont care, either way. Blue light will look good coming from inside of it, be it white or silver.
