Well, we've had a couple of girlfriend help threads recently, and I'm curious; what's the best thing to give to a girl? It seems like even the best gals are a touch materialistic, and giving them just the right thing might work out great. So what do the gals here recommend? The one I just did, making homemade chocolate truffles, seemed to work well, but are there better things? Thanks a bunch!

Buddy, you don't need our help.
You've already got "it".
Chocolate ganache has always been, and will always be, the key to a woman's heart. Or panties, depending on what you spike it with.

Gifts all depend on what kind of reaction you're looking for and how she'll react.
However I think a good universal gift is... damn it the secret can not be revealed.

I dunno. Diamonds at your age could be a little... bunny-boiler, if you know what I mean.

I realize that, but when the time comes, remember that diamonds are nearly a sure fire way into a woman's pants. So much so, that they should be considered rape!

Never give diamonds or jewelry unless your married with kids, or else you'll have a gaint lawsuit on Judge Joe Brown about how you want back the $1000 ear rings.
To be honest, dont give anything permanent, only give memories. A girl would remember a great date rather than her gaint superbowl ring....usually....

dude, this is NW's (me) golden rule for females, as lady Triggar pointed out, TEH CHOCOLATE! is the key...although my mum is a weirdo and is a female who does not like chocolate, proper weird, anyway yeah...chocolate man, and i9f you make it like you said u did that time and be like "i made this for you because...." then its smooth sailing from there...
trust me, I amin touch with my feminine side...

Go with a Build-a-bear at your local mall, its fairly cheap, and incredibly stupid. Girls love them.

Depends on the age range... and you cash range as well.
Teddy bears and chocolates are all well but if your in a long term relationship go ahead and spend. Mine figured out that if I could spend 400$ on Warhammer 40k she could milk it for our 6 months. So now she has a 250$ golden bracelet.

Jewellry is seemingly a good idea, but what is really a good idea.. is getting it from a private jeweller.
Even if it's something simple and relatively inexpensive., if it's from a private jeweller it's far more unique, and not to be found in chain-stores etc and seemingly they'll appreciate it more, even if it costs a little extra.
That's what I found anyway
