For me, the day Mom bought that atari.. I was a gamer, through and through.

We had:
Pac-Man
Space Invaders
Frogger
Combat
Raiders of the Lost Ark

I think of these, Frogger and Raiders were my all time favs.

I then moved to Clark Air Base Phillipenes and missed the arrivial of the NES and played that old Atari till 1986.

I loved that thing.

:huh: I'm not gonna pretend I ever played Atari. first game I ever got into was probably MechWarrior.

Earliest console I ever played was an amiga. Then a SNES.

I liked joust, and that moontank game where you had one gun shooting forward, and one shooting straight up hehe

Pong - was that the Atari game system? I remember the first time I played a video game and it only had the dial thing for the controller ... I thought it was badass.

First game system I got was Intellivision ... baeball was the greatest.

Atari 2600 had nothing but a joystick, and had pong.

What was the first console to ever come out? It was the precursor to the Atari.

In 1972 The Odyssey? Not sure, before my time. That's just what I get from what I read at http://inventors.about.com/library/inventors/blcomputer_videogames.htm doing a Google Search.
