Some people are more sensitive than others. Some are extremely more sensitive than others. It saves a lot of trouble and headaches if you just be mindful of how others might react after a comment. Is it annoying to tippy toe around other people's feelings? Yeah, but it saves so much troubles that would come other wise. Besides, what's it hurt to find something good to say rather than negative? Anyways.... @Ivan... yes she is bigger not fat or anything but shes not skinny as a rail. Thats how I like them though. You dont want a woman who can break you... I dont want a woman I can break. As you can see I am not exactly that small my self. Its really unfortunate. She has this obsession with tickling me untill I cant breathe... I fight it but sometimes I fight too much and like hurt her a little. She bruises too easy :(

And to answer your question no, I would not sugar-coat it. If she is fat, I would tell her that she was fat. Because lying to people is in my view insulting and disrespectful. Honesty is apparently a lost concept in a world where people are far too afraid of possibly offending others. Honesty used to be a prized characteristic.. now it is almost a crime.
