Simple enough. Post pictures of your messy room, and whoever gets the most votes wins a kiss from infernus and/or sputty.

Mine was cleaned recently so it isn't up to its mess potential, but I'll compete anyways:

what the hell, you claim to be messy tb, and then have the tidiest bed ive seen in years!?

I have one pic, cause my webcam doesn't have any range. It's pretty much this for the whole room:

There are reasons why I didn't post pics of my bed :P

Aside from the mess, collections of men's magazines and random pieces of my girlfriend's underwear strewn around it.. I build it.. therefore it sucks. Half it isn't put together properly and quite frankly that's embarassing :groovy:

Funny you say that. Martyr and I are undertaking an engineering feat of construction when we make ourselves a platform bed complete with footboard and canopy.

We will of course photodocument the endeavor.

We built a customised desk for us, which is leet because we have four monitors and two sets of peripherals to deal with. It's strong and it looks cool.

But um, yeah. I'll get pics of this messy place in a few :)

Isn't it just a big plank of wood resting on stuff?

Building mine and Rach's double-bed was a nightmare. It took 8 hours and some serious sweat and manual labour. Was it worth it to wake up next to meh gf rather than on the floor in a pile of cds after being pushed out during the night? Yes :p

The thing has a skirting of sorts. Handy for storing things. Problem is I need to repair the bottom bit which broke when I tripped over it after a rough night and snapped the connecting dowels :|

Sort of.

It's two sawhorses as the "foundation". Then John build this ladder-type thing - two pieces of 2x4 wood with two crossbeams attaching them. He set that on top of the two sawhorses. Then, he took loose pieces of 2x4's, set them across the "ladder", and put the monitor on top of that. Then lastly, he took a piece of MDF the length of the ladder and set that on top of the sawhorses, laying next to the ladder. That's for the peripherals.

Nothing's screwed in except the crossbeams to the ladder and the legs of the saw horses. We can take this whole thing apart and move it with no problem (and have done, on many occasions), but it's inherently strong and stable.

John rules at furniture design and construction. Our new bed should be leet.

I didn't clean my room for 6 years, it looked a bit worse than TB's room. Though, I did clean it for the first time like I said in 6 years just last month.

See, my mother died 6 years ago so that ended the clean your room nagging. My father doesn't give a crap so I never really did either.

Yes, we've already discussed this. My mess potential is severely hampered by the parental units. This thread is a competition, post your messy room pictures and compete.
