Once a player enters the Warpgate to enter the queue, they are free to travel anyplace on the continent, and will be transported to the queued continent when their turn in the queue comes up.

So...lemme see if I'm reading this right.

I can enter a warpgate, pick a destination, and then leave and go beat off at a tower or something across the cont.

Once my spot is up, I'll vanish into thin-air (including out from within battle) and enter that cont, even if I'm outside the WG?

This seems odd. It would make more sense if it trapped you in the WG bubble so long as you are in the queue. But...being allowed to travel ANYWHERE?

Also, another question would be if you are allowed to change which WG you come in at (going to a cont dominated by your empire, thus broadcast powers) while in the queue, and not lose position.

(I'm x-posting this to the offical forums too so I get some response there)

The queues will be very long. We've all seen how many people can be sitting in a single warpgate at once. Having to sit in the warpgate the entire time would suck if all of a sudden you wanted to change your vehicle, or certs, or otherwise react to the changing situation on the target continent.

Plus, if you die, you're out of the queue, and I suspect the waiting in line window that'll be in the middle of your screen to tell you how long you have to wait and gives you the option to cancel will make fighting a little more difficult.

Ya but it doesnt matter if you lose your place when you get in a passenger seat, as long as the driver gets in the passengers do to.

Right. So if say a galaxy is in the queue and all passangers share his position in line, then is it that the vehicle cannot enter the continent until there is enough positions on that continent to accomodate the whole galaxy crew?
