I've played this game for awhile, BR 19, CR 1
This game definetly needs new stuff to do
fun stuff to do
not the same old thing and bug fixes. Sure the bfrs are new
but now you just die more often.

And what I wanna know, I see people there like, "Yeah I just got CR5
after 1 month, so I decided to make CR5's on every other empire, and world!"
And I've been working on one character for the whole 9 motnhs I've been
playing it, and I'm not even done the Br nor am I halfway to CR2,
How do they do thaT? How do they get CR5 so quickly? They act like its nothing and please devs come up with something new :(

Powergamers can get CR5 in about a month.
I myself am CR4.5 and it's taken me about a 1/4 of a month to get that far. (Just into CR4, not 1 2 and 3.)
Not too hard.

basically, those that get cr5 in a month or less are those without social lifes.

cr5 mostly takes a LOTof patience.

took me a year to go from cr2 to cr5.

turns out, though, that it takes even more patience to play as cr5 than to obtain it, hehe

and here's my tip for longevity of entertainment...

find a good outfit to play with, then get to know your enemy.

my outfit has the most fun beating up on stupid enemy outfits (stupidity runs in packs) like the enclave and KAAOS - them specifically because their galdrops are easy targets for us.

also, trying new tactics with your team is a lot of fun. try out tank platoons, aircav wings, cloaker-CE or cloaker-max squads, facility draining, precision gal drops, sniper pairs.

learn the armordeth ant trap.

master new vehicles. ever driven an ATV? i cleared an NC courtyard with a basilisk one time, eight kills.

look through your kill history. find what you haven't killed yet. track down than NC lodestar or TR fury to make your stats complete.

similarly, have you driven/gunned every enemy vehicle? get adv hack and some vehicle certs, see what you can do there

i could go on, maybe i will someday... maybe that'll make a good blog entry.

Martyr, that sounds like a faraway dream. Sure I could organize a large fun lightnings or infiltrator squad, going around haveing fun or pwning, but I cant.... if thats what you do I wanna join. And by the way, whats so bad about gal drops, I loved enclave and kaaos but they were jackass's
your names tangouniform right?

They were probably AFK. Or unarmed. Even regular ammo will damage a basilisk. And AP ammo or rockets will send it packing in short order. But he was just giving suggestions to make your game experience more varied, and using an ATV is certainly a good way to achieve that end.

I Am the CEP Whore of my outfit. Whenever I log on, I automatically get a squad. Chain of command rocks.

yes, i'm tangouniform. i killed sabinius two or three times recently. you even sent me a tell complaining about it.

no, the NC were not AFK, they were just caught offguard. i mean who expects a basilisk to come tearing into your CY and actually open fire on you? i took out a jacked damaged thresher, a few infantry - i got gaussed - shot up a skeeter, got one guy waiting at the v-pad... generally just made a mess and drove around really fast. it was great fun.

ahriman corps, the bullies of vs emerald, actually ran an ATV campaign. coordinated, they were a staggeringly effective force. it helps that they're some of the best players in the game, but it made a good point too.

as for the coordinated teams - yeah, that's the whole idea behind an outfit. that level of coordination is not something you can do all the time, people get bored and lose interest. but once or twice a good organized armor platoon or air cav team can be awesome fun.

one big idea ive had would be to advance the game further than just a massive FPS game. seing as though this is/was an entire world find ways of showing this to the players. ruined cities i always thought would be nice as there are no signs of settlment on auraxis, and considering they were there nearly 30 years before the war broke out im sure they would have built cities. considering the Chinese are building 20-40 new cities a year im sure they could have managed one per continent maybe? cities would be capturable like bases but in a different way like your side needs to control 4 sites at one to capture it of somthing like that? maybe a politaical system for each empire would be good with a MoD (ministry of defence in this case :groovy: ) so you work almost administrativly informing every ground troop of enemy movments and such. this is just a bare bones idea mind but you can see where im goin right?
