hmm take screen shots and post them
it may be overclocking of your video card causing arifacting(or your card going bad...)
the most likey story is taht a file someplce is corrupted, so do a full scan, and see if that helps.
Also please remeber to post system specs, it helps a good bit.

umm, that's normal to my knowledge, the shield flickers the color (in a swirl-like-motion)

Seeing a screenshot would be very helpful.
It could be a form of artifacting, or a vsync issue, or a corrupted file, or your graphic settings.

Possibly a corrupt texture file?
Anything like that happen on anything else or in any other games?

did you do a full scan?
acctualy it could be your video card, it may not be able to support the shaders that do that, i mean it's 4 generations old

yea i did full scan...
BUT, sometimes it DOES display shield correctly like in BFR movie.....then it DOES support it

Yeah I've seen this problem a few times over on the OF tech forum... seems a limited number of ppl have been having this problem and its probably driver-related in some way. And its only happened so far with nVidia cards. In any case, Joel is a good dude, he'll find a fix, just give him time.

So far i thank that IRC guy that told me that my game crashing was RAM related :) He was right :) I cant even remember the name :)
