Bye Planetside

Well, after seeing dozens of these kind of posts, Its finally time for me to type my own. My biggest Problem with Planetside is that since summer the only real innovation has been the BFRs which have taken Months to put in the game and the game itself has become boring. I have been playing Planetside since the open beta in April 03'. Maybe ill come back if the Devs actually put something actually innovative into the game. There are alot of cool ideas and the developers are some of the most passionate MMO devs in the industry. But I believe they have carried the game way to far off into generic hell. I will be staying tuned to new developments and as I said maybe ill come back. In closing, id like to say its been great and I will still be hanging out in the lounge. Bye :love:

I still honestly don't believe I've ever had more fun playing a video game than in the summer of '03. So many things were there or were different back then than even the last time I played a lot (December). And I'm sure more things have changed for the worse since then.

I thought of leaving due to BFRs, but there are MUCH less than before- you can actually have a battle now with real people and not 80 BFRs shooting at each other, to no avail.

However, I'd like to see more things that massive robots of death. More patches that don't just bump around BFR damage values.

I don't want to leave PlanetSide, it was the first MMOG I have ever played...
Sad thing is the past few months the people I have come to know as my friends have been slowly fading and giving way to the newbs or people who don't give a ass's ass about PlanetSide. I think this is time for a new expansion... PlanetSide: The Dark Age......
