It makes me feel terrible to see a game like this go to waste
How much you want to bet, that if someone else bought planetside, took it , updated it, and actually put it new and fun stuff into the game, sony would be like "Ahh lets buy it back" and then it would rot again.

and right now its makng 350,000-400,000

Sounds to me like he's under the impression that Samhayne will do nothing but ruin Planetside and that SOE's employees hate games and whine whine bitch bitch. PS used to suck a lot more than it does now. It's not perfect, but it's getting better. And before you know it, a new expansion with some good stuff in it this time around will be out, and PS will be new and fresh and yadda yadda.

But in the mean time I wish we would stop getting these "aw man PS used to be so good now it sux wuts up wit dat ??" threads.

Sony's bad implementation of new things into the game. But Mostly because of the poor advetising they give PlanetSide. Lookin any gaming magezine,you'll see an add for SWG/EQoA/EQ1/EQ2. However, you will NEVER see one for PlanetSide.

PlanetSide is never going to go back to its "origanal glory", thats what "origanal glory" is original Things change, times change, learn to deal with it... and yes I miss the "origanal glory" that was once PlanetSide.

Your "whine whine bitch bitch yadda yadda" attitudes is exactly what means you should not post a "retaliation thread", because you have nothing to offer. I, like the poster, miss what PS once was and choose not to be spoonfed all the "developer givings". It's pretty obvious to me that the community (MOSTLY) as a whole isn't happy.

It's easy to tell if it's a "boo hoo someone change my diaper I'm getting a rash" post. All you need to do is see if the individual is a) making attacks against the developers, and/or b) complaining without making an effort to provide constructive feedback by citing the source(s) of their problem(s) and perhaps even offering ideas on how to fix it/them.

So, yes, you were being a bleeding heart and doing useful by making that post, much like the original poster. It's ironic when you say I have nothing to offer, when my initial response there was only written because the OP offered nothing. He was insulting the developers and nothing else, and it says a lot that you'd try to defend him none the less.
