NXL is incredible though...i mean i love nppl and all but nxl is such a fun game to play. i'd be playing this year in the canadian xball league but i live near nyc so it would too hard to come up every weekend to practice.

here's the question of the month:

Is the NXL's new "anything goes" rule good for the sport?

I don't think so. ramping a marker or adding super bounce to a trigger is no different then using steriods or a corked bat in baseball.

well yea, but think about what baseball what be like if steriods were permitted. That's what the NXL is basically doing. NPPL all the way.

Barry Bonds, Gary Sheffield, these guys have testified that they have taken banned steroids, yet they remain. Sorry I hijacked this. I really need to play paintball again, haven't played in a few years.

All of you that like Paintball run out and get the latest FACEFULL (http://www.face-full.com/IN_YOUR_FACE.html) magazine. (Issue 24 November/December 2004)

They have a great article about the NXL's response on the Full Auto, Bounce, Turbo ect guns in the NXL. There is too much to sight from memory, so buy the mag. It's well worth it and one of the best paintball mags to get.

That issue also has a great article on the whole Patent Issue that has been casting ripples through out the whole industry for the past 2 to 3 years now.
