C&C Redeemed

OK for all you who are with me when I say that Tiberium Sun was one of the worst flops C&C has ever made, I'll tell you right now, C&C Generals TOTALY redeems the C&C line. This game is awsome beyond compare and right now is prolly one of the best RTSs i've ever played. Great graphics, incredibly fun gameplay, I would pick this one up if you guys out there like RTSs, it's definatley a keeper.

Well, Having been a part of the Generals Beta, I can say this, they blew it. I don't care what they did to that game, thee are too many holes in it. The beta was a joke, the game play was fooked and the balance was shit.

Pretty yes, good.. not in this mans book.

Alot of games recently have been going for looks more so than gameplay. E&B...Emperor: Dune(Not too recent but it was an RTS). It's getting sad. People will like and play it jsut because it looks nice though....

Everyone has thier own views I guess, because personally I think Generals kicks ass. I have always loved C&C and I feel they have made me another love. I'm sorry some of you don't like it, but hey, I'm sure there are plenty of games that others like and I hate so... ;)

Ya Homeworld was awsome and I can only hope the best for it's sequal. I picked up Hegemonia though. It's a good game, but its very slow and sim-ish. Graphics are incredible but if you don't like the sim aspect...alot... its probably not going to hold you for long.

And as for generals, I like it mainly cause they went back to the old stuff. Example: a "Tank". Not a "Super Laser Energy Mobile Kill Platform." And it is balanced pretty well, every side has their little quirk that makes them good. If you really think its still unbalanced just wait, the glory of PC games is that you can patch em to hell.:)
