it''s just various graphs in the bacground... at least thats all i see... and I always like your comic martyr, my favorite is still the one where the guy's girl-friend kicks him into the dog house for the night :lol:

You know, I thought the same thing when I was thinking about posting a thread for the comic. Some type of Comment submitting function for each comic would be cool. Sort of like CDL has at our site. Gryphon! Get to work slacker! :whip:

Sorry family inside joke. :D But I'll share it with you!

I had an uncle, that was a freak to put it bluntly and loved canned peaces in Ice Cream. He would make all us kids (we all were really young then, like 5-13) eat peaches in our ice cream too. Well one day I wasn't being on my best behavior at the dinner table and he yelled, "That's it! No peaches in your ice cream!"

Well I didn't want them anyways so I said in a snotty 8 year old tone, "Fine I don't like peaches in my ice cream anyways!" So we all didn't get ice cream... But it's been a family joke for the past 12 years now. :lol:

Anyways back to topic now. Sorry.

haha, peaches in ice cream is frozen ownage.
unless you wait too long and the peaches freeze, that sucks. then they're chewy and gross.

Maybe I'm not on the "inside" part of the joke. But I found it mildly humorous at best. The "viva la pantelones" globals are about as good as "I like pie", and very hardly funny. I'm sorry, but if you think that shiznit is funny, you should rethink your sense of humor imo.

Geez, and I thought I was bitter.

Maybe you could do me (and yourself) one better and explain how it's supposed to be funny. Maybe I'm just missing the joke, I don't know.

I mean ok, he has a picture with plaid jammy pants, and it's in the comic. How is that funny? What am I missing?

For the record, I don't think I am right and everyone else is wrong, I just can't find the humor in pants. Mine goes a little deeper than that.

They are someone else's pants is one of the points being made. However, nobody can explain anything that will make if funny for you. If you don't find it funny you don't, doesn't mean others need to rethink 'their' sense of humor. I didn't find the comic hilarious, it's not something I would jump to email my friends, but I grinned.

I like to think Marty has a slight touch of Monty Python humor, where yeah something doesn't really make sense, but that's what makes it funny.

and, in fact, those globals are referring to the same pants you see pictured there.

anyway, this thread has had a horrible kind of inspiration for me, and i'm actually working on my old website and fora, turning them into a tangouniform-hell of speech bubbles and beamers. it's incomplete, but i'm going to use it to promote feedback on tangouniform, which should in turn encourage me to make more of them more often, which i need to do. if you want to beta-browse, i have the forums (http://er7600.com/ctaf) about 60% finished... but please, no internet explorers.

when it's done, i intend to have a full portal, integrating the tangouniform gallery (http://er7600.com/latest.php) i hacked in last week. again, no IE please. i'm watching.
