My mom is an idiot. Our plumbing is fucked so she calls a plumber. but she dials the wrong number. She is suprised to find that the number that she called is a diffent plumber. He proposes a lower price then the orignal plumber and she hires him. Two days later, he has a key to our house and $200 of our money and he disapears. We tried calling him but his phone has been disconected. The locksmiths are on the way to change the locks right now. :rolleyes:

my grandmother told these jesus freaks about how she leaves the back door open during the day and that if they wanted to stop by and talk about god they could any time. came in and stole a bunch of just random stuff. Two T.V.'s and some money i think, plus some of my grandmother's jewelry. Cops caught 'em speeding on route 224 in Boardman (ohio) about an hour after they'd stolen all that shit. What was great was that I had put in the call no more than ten or fifteen minutes before they were caught. My Grandmother tells this story all the time: how GOD punished those bad men for using religion to try to steal from an old woman. *sigh* i love it.

Heh, my aunt hired some guy who was handing out business cards in a parking lot (yeah, I know, shes a bit crazy) to do a whole bunch of work on her house, and I guess he didn't show up after she paid him, but the good thing is she's a persistant lady and managed to get his real name and report him to the cops before he managed to dissapear completely. They told him that he better get the job done by so-and-so date or he will have a warrant issued for his arrest. Now the guy is stuck doing the work he never planned on doing, its ironic.

In any case, I hope they catch that fraud plumber who robbed you. Hopefully he'll try resisting arrest or something so the cops can beat him up a little bit too :p
