I am very very picky with music. After asking people what they like and downloading countless songs I finaly have a band I like. Cake. Expecialy their songs going the distance and never there. I had to listen to countless shitty songs to get there though. Could you guys suggest more music I might like if I like cake?

Get the fuck off my internet immediately. You consider Cake and Good Charlotte, good?
Cake isnt bad, but i've heard better music from a drunk hobo in front of the Western Wiltern in Los Angeles, CA singing old Beatles hits while doing the can-can. His music was infinitely better then Good Charlottes 'music'. (by the way, it isnt a joke, there really is an old drunk hobo that does that.)

LP, while they are bashed alot, I like their new Jay Z/Linkin Park colaboration, simply because it's a new sound that I find greatly appealing.
Smashmouth, no shame in smashmouth. They were my first concert.
Good Charlotte,
Blink 182, I grew up on it. They just kept getting shittier and more mainstream. I love em, but I hate em.

Have to agree about the new LP/JayZ compliation. Their styles match well together.
I'd suggest The Mars Volta, for all things.
