My dad and me went to a gun show in Nashville today, me and my dad are big World War II Firearms collectors. He has an M1 Garand and a Colt 1911a, he wanted to get me something of my own, I was looking for a K98 but all I found were some Spanish .303 Mausers and then I saw a guy selling WWII Era Soviet Mosin Nagants for 200. Never been fired, built in 1944 (according to the markings on the reciver). Then they were refurbished in 1965 when they were sent to the US. Here are some pics.

Mosin Nagant (Im thinking its the M1889 Sniper Variant, according to the manual I bought that showed my model with the PU Scope)

View of the Reciever, you can barely see the Soviet Insignia due to the camera flash, along with the year 1944. The year 1965 was also engraved.

oops, switch the 9 and 6.

lol back in 1695 there werent any real rifles just little mini cannons that worked for only about 20 yards and you were lucky if the thing didnt explode in your face.

NICE! Man, I'd kill for an authentic Mosin Nagant. Do you have any ammo for it? You can get it custom made.

It takes 7.62mmx54R ammo, the only problem is stripper clips are EXTREMELY hard to find and you have to manually put all five rounds in.

Garand is 8 Round cartidges.
