Ok...got $100 and I want to get a DVD Burner. First time buying one, suggestions?

If dual layer is not required, then I would go for the plextor px-716A or px-712a. I have the 712 and have never had a coaster from any media that I have used. Stonkingly fast and that Pleaxtor quality. Bonus
