As the original poster proved quite humorously, CR5's in general are loudmouth assholes who ground there way to the top, not by being good leaders in many cases, but by being persistant. Had the individuals who devised the way CR would work wanted something else to happen, they shouldn't have tagged stupid crap like EMP and Orbital Strikes onto CR.

Hell, there should have been penalties for getting CR, like you could only have 20 Rank split between your CR and your BR. That, plus the removal of EMP and OS, would likely be decent groundwork for the making of a decent leadership structure. That way the individuals who are willing to sacrifice their own abilities for the sake of being a more able squad leader would be the ones who'd be the CR5's, not the losers (in general, I mean; there are some good CR5's of course) we have in those positions currently.

Honestly, CR4 is where its at. I really wish as CR5 you oculd switch between the ranks for Command chat. Most cr5's just got it from random invites and not leading an actual army. This is why i liked the CR5 abilities someone posted a long time ago. Basically if a CR5 lead or any CR, the squad would get benefits in a certain radius and based on what CR they were. This combined with CEP loss/degredation, would make sure that only the good leaders would lead.

I really don't see what's so great about CR5. No one listens to you because the most vocal ones are the idiots and woohoo, I can kill like 15 guys at once every time this timer hits zero. I can kill 15 people in about 2 mins on foot in agile or in my BFR/lightning.

by the way, the command "/report" actually sends CSRs a transcript of all preceeding conversation between you and whoever you put after /report.

also, planetside has a built-in chat logger, so you can preserve special moments like this one without having to stop and take screenshots.
