Sending messages

Is there any information out on how to send messages privately? What do you type in if your trying to type a private message to your party member for example.

Any info would be helpful :p

I would guess it would be the same as most MMORPGs, something along the lines of /tell (name) (message) or /say (name) (message) etc.

Given that SOE is making this game, and they make everquest, I will almost guarantee it will be the same as everquest.

looking at the screenshots and preview from internal beta they even use the same font and font colour and font size as they did for EverQuest (purple for tells - PMs, green for Guild - outift, blue for group - squad).

/outfit message
/squad message

peeps seem to think that MMORPG fans will be at a disadvantage cos this is an FPS - well no it aint, its an MMOFPS, an those with MMO experience will be at an advantage as this will not be a new experience to them. They will be used to full scale battles and following orders (if they where any good at the MMORPG hehe).

I think it is pretty similar to that. Also in the chat window you can filter out by squad/outfit/empire
