Okay, so starting January 3rd I'll begin attending George Brown College in downtown Toronto. Im really excited about starting. I'll be doing Hotel Managment. One of my courses involves wine tasting! Im also excited about meeting all the new people.

At the same time im nervous. Im nervous about the loads of school work and the dificulty of the test and how hard ass the teachers are gonna be on me.

I haven't been in school since I graduated from high school last June. So i've had an extened summer pretty much. Im afraid i've become soo lazy during this time that I won't be able to get myself into doing school work again.

Yeah so basically how hard is college?

I don't think Hotel Management is too intensive.

the school i went too has a Hotel Managment(and resturant program) not sure how it will be at your school, but i heard there was alot of math, public relations stuff, and math and maybe some drink making courses(at least at my school) not sure how in depth your course is, how long is the course?

You'll be okay once you get used to the new area and the new situation. I recommend strongly that you do all the assigned reading right after you get home from classes and do all your work the night it was assigned. Otherwise you'll get buried and yeah, it's bad.

Good luck, keep us posted :p

College is job preparation, University is theory and learning to get a degree. That being said, in Canada it's different than the US, or so I hear

College is easy as hell if you apply yourself.

That's like saying "Cheese is good if you eat it"
Anything's easy if you apply yourself.

No, it isn't. And cheese isn't always good if you eat it. Ever had Limburger cheese? It smells like raw wallaby ass. Ever eaten moldy cheese? Ever had cheese that has fermented?

I apply myself at being nice and polite. It isn't easy, especially with some of the dumb fuckers that walk this earth.
