oh my god I don't think I'll ever be able to look at animal right activists again with a straight face, knowing just maybe they helped create this movie.

ya for scare tactics with the bactieria stuff too, but our food gets cooked so you don't relay have to worry about that, the bigger threat of super-germs comes from stuff like flu shots, that don't make you totaly immune, and every anti-microbial houshold product.

Hmmm. not soo sure it's about not eating meat or animal cruelty.
It takes you to a guide at the end on where to buy meat and not from factory producers.
Personally I'm not gonna argue with the video. Some of the best meat i've had is from my local butcher shop and not the bundle backs of schniders I buy at the grocery store.
Serloin steak is best bought at the butcher and not at the grocery store.

I guess. As long as your not buying your steaks from a bundle pack or jumbo box.
It's not showing me that you support factory slaughter houses or whatever they're called. It's shows me YOUR CHEAP!

I support the slaughter of animals to feed the hungry. There's a thing called Survival of the Fattest and this wonderful invention called The Food Chain. I don't buy that "compassionate choice" horseshit. Animals, if given a chance in their own natural environment, would likely turn you into paste to feed their family. I also support the cutting down of trees to make paper so we can have porn mags. I also endorse picking fruit and vegetables from the garden, because those goddamn apples are so good (yes fruit is alive too, you PETA fuckers).
Sharks can rip apart a surfer in Australia and no PETA activist sheds a tear. I step on a cockroach in my living room and the motherfuckers have a cow. Fuck you PETA. I'd love to tie you up and forcefeed some raw chicken down your throat and let you get salmonella poisoning and dysentery.

wrong, it still allows the bacteria an environment to evolve in. Eventually the bacteria will get out of the "animal" community and attack humans. Then you've got super-bacteria.
----
Otherwise odd how these activists only are against factory butcherings in sofar as the outputs the create. Not the negative affects on the animals themselves(animal cruelty). Or the fact that eating this meat is not of the same quallity as "family farm meat". Selective hearing i guess plays a part here.

What I love is how all the PETA people care so much about us killing and eating animals but they don't give a hoot about us slaughtering children in a mother's womb.
Anyways, animals are on earth for one reason, people to enjoy them as pets or spectacles and for food. Period. No If's And's or But's.

Or maybe you could extract the ammonia from it, boil it with cough medicine and borax, make crystal methamphetamines, and sell them!

WTF? First, PETA is about animal rights, they can't start doing other stuff for no reason and they can't afford doing so much, also human right groups are far larger already. Second, not everyone believes that god created animals for people and, also, it's opinions like that that have led to thousands of species becoming extinct. You can't just go around bible thumping(normally that's not true of PSU members, but you are part of a select few) and expect people to listen.

Yes, because the universe revolves around humanity and everything else was created to be our playthings. As long as I'm pretending to believe that, wouldn't it be cool to ship in Lions; and when there half-starved, let them loose on the floor of the superdome (properly secured of course, can't let them into the cheering crowds there to watch them die for there enjoyment) and force them to fight it out over a deer carcass for our amusement. After all, they were created for spectacles. for the slow, that was sarcasm
On topic, I don't have that much of a problem with factory farms in concept, alot of times they seem to be needlessly cruel, which sucks, but the march of progress almost always has to march over something. It sucks for what it's marching over, but in the end the whole is better for it. And that pig has the most annoying voice in history.

A) I didn't quote the Bible anywhere in that post.
B) I posted my opinion. Plain and simple. I'll admit I went too far with the "No If's And's or But's" and the "Period" parts but still, my intent wasn't on forcing you to agree with me.
C) I wasn't implying that we should have Coluseums or torture/be cruel to animals, I was joint pointing out that humans the are most intelligent and dominant life form on the Earth, and thus have ruling rights over the rest.
D) My point was that we should care more about people and helping humans (such as charities, food banks, Habitat for Humanity etc...) than animals.
E) I like meat and there's nothing that can change that. I'll admit fresh meat from a butcher shop is better than pre-packaged stuff, but that pre-packaged stuff is better than having no meat at all.
F) Just because I'm a Christian doesn't mean I'm a moron Sputty.

expressing them is one thing. stating that there is no other choice but your opinon is another(the if and or but thing.)
anyways upon further study of your message you didn't thumb the bible this time. Good day to you.

Did you not read my earlier post about accidentely going to far and that leaving no other choice wasn't my original intent? Also, I have the right to quote the Bible when I want, where I want and it doesn't matter what you think or say about it. I never said that you have to believe the validity of it or what I believe. I just use it as a source that I fully believe is valid.

This is the exact thing everyone is pissed at you guys for. Coming into threads and derailing them when people are trying to have intelligent conversations. Do you guys have even the slightest notion of what respect means? Do you guys know how to restrain yourselves from posting irrelevant, annoying and destructive posts? Do you guys know how to be kind...to anyone? Honestly guys, grow up.

This isn't a serious forum. I think you're implying I'm in the wrong place. Incorrect. If you think this forum is serious, you're in the wrong place. The lounge is host to similar debauchary and shenanigans, not debating.
We may have a few serious threads, in which all of us are smart enough to realise that it's serious. For example: "Uh oh! Someone's relative just died. I had better offer sympathy." This isn't one of them. How the hell can someone take "The Meatrix" so seriously? It's supposed to be funny.
You're clueless.
