Hi guys.

Sad times are upon us, so actions must be taken to ensure the legacy of this community.

So I have two requests for everyone.

1) I need suggestions for the new name of our annual Mobilizations. I plan on keeping the "Mobilization" bit, but what else? I don't want to include "Planetside" because of my lack of faith in the longevity of the game. I want a name that honors our bonds with eachother as well as the community that brought us together.

Please PM me suggestions or email them to me at [email protected]

2) Before PSU closes and we all go our separate ways, Martyr has stepped up to the plate and offered his own site as a place for "PSU Refugees". We've got the forums set up like PSU's to make the transition easier on everyone, and we're strongly encouraging as many PSU'ers as possible (including you, Hamma, Jen, Marsman, Mani and Gryph!) to register and post.

It won't be quite like PSU - our rules are slightly different (i.e. trolling carries a higher penalty) - but come by and make yourself comfortable. I would hate to see this community disband when we're all so close-knit.

So to sum it up:

1) PM me or gmail me suggestions for the new name of our annual Mobilizations.

2) Register and post on www.er7600.com/ctaf

Thank you and good day.

So... WHY is it we can't just stick with tradition and name it PlanetSide Universe Mobilization Bravo? Even if PSU is dead by that point, and PS going down the toilet, the REASON for the original PSUMA and all subsequent mobilzations is based upon the fact that a bunch of PlanetSide gamers who frequent PlanetSide-Universe.com got together to meet eachother and the devs in Orlando Florida and had a kickin' good time.

Personally, I don't think we should be removing "PlanetSide" from the name of the event. We all are PlanetSide players, past or present, and theres no reason why we should. It has been the focal point of this community, and I think we should honor that.

Does that mean I'm not invited? :(

I'm with electro on this. I think calling it PSU:MB would help honor our beloved home on teh interweb after it has left us.

Right about now I feel like the guy in Fiddler on the Roof, looking towards the sky and yelling "TRADITION!"
