People rant and rave about how its one of the biggest faliures to 2004 and Nintendo and if you want to find faliures look at the VirtualBoy.

From experience playing the Metriod Demo it was ok but the controls are etchy, I'd wait until Psp and see how that works for a month or wait till theres a game worth waiting for on the DS.

My little bro bought one for christmas, It's pretty cool but I fell in love with it when I found out I could play Mario 64

Only probs I have are that the controls are kinda hard to get used to, and there launch titles weren't all that great

I had one of those. Had Mario tennis for it, so VIRTUAL!

Edit: Playing it for too long hurt ya eyes big time.

wait for the PSP, better deal, better games, better graphics. The DS has a R: Racing Evolution, and it looks like a game from the mid 90's PSP has Ridge Racers, it has all of the RR gmaes, and it looks comparable to the PS2 games. PSP, wait for it.

I was playing with a DS yesterday, he only had mario 64 but the possibilities are amazing. the touch pad can concivably work just like a mouse making FPS's and RTS's just as good as if they were on a computer. And the graphics are quite nice and crisp, as it was jsut marior 64 i can't realy say but they are atleast as good as a n64

yes, the stylus could work for RTS' but do you want to be playing an RTS on a portable machine with scrrens the size of 2 businees cards? my eyesight is already bad enough....

How does that argument not apply to any hand held game ever made?

I think he means that it's even harder for RTSies due to the fact that it has such small units, compared to mario where you have a fat beastie of a character, and no tiny units, per se.

It would still work to make an RTS for the DS, I don't think they will though as awsome as it would be.

I don't think the PSP will be majorly successful.
