As many of you read in my noob thread, I got planetside via direct download. Now I am planning on reformatting my system soon, so what do I need to download PS again?

Will the installer that you download from Marco Polo's demo work?

Yes.
I made the installer, and I can verify that lots of people have used it just fine.

Infact, it's been download atleast 8000 times since late last December :)

actually, it does work, when i reformated, and i was too lazy to find my PS install cd's, i got greyflcn's installer, and it works fine...
