Wow, probably the only reason to buy a PS2 was SOCOM II, because really I can't think of another game that would be worth buying one for execpt MAYBE MGS3, but since I sold my PS2 I just might as well buy it back again because of this game. (Am I crazy? discuss...)

Actually now that I think about it, Xbox 2 will have Counter-strike 2! But hey, I played SOCOM I & II for like 2 years, so I'll probably stick with this.

True, but why waste money on PS3 or whatever abomination nintendo cranks out when you could buy an xbox 2?

'cuz xbox sucks. I got one this past summer, got halo, and GTA3. GTA3 want nearly as fun as it was on PS2, and, well, Halo just sucked, and i refuse to buy halo 2, just an over hyped first person shooter, its all been done before. Since i got my xbox, i havent bought a single game for it, so why waste my money on xenon? it will be the same old same old. Im going to get a PS3, just judging from my history from other sony products, PS3 wont disapoint. What will Xenon have that the PS3 wont? PS3 will have more desirable games, also, is it me or does microsoft seem to want to make consoles just for the pure cash, but not rep? Look at relase dates of the xbox and xenon, they are 4 years, while sony has a 6 year life span of the PS2, just a bit of math for stupid people will follow (i am rounding to years (ie. 2000, 2001) may not be 100% accurate)

Sony releases PS2 in 2000, Microsoft Releases Xbox in 2001, PS3 is slated for release in 2006, while Xenon is lsated for release in 2005, do the math, 2000-2006= 6 and 2001-2005= 4.

So looks like microsoft is shoving out consoles just for the money, and not the games, or gamers, but sony is giving the PS2 life, 2 years more, so why go out and buy a Xenon, when there will be a new microsoft sytem out in probally 3 years, but your investment into the PS3 will mean you waste less money because you wont need to replace the PS3 in a few years. On an other note, the xbox is pretty crappy, if you compare release, the graphical differences are minor, which is pretty bad considering the Xbox was realeased 1 year after the PS2. Som this is why i say the Xenon will suck, and PS3 will be awesome, its all in the history!

Also, great to hear about socom3, i liked the past 2, so i may buy this, because i wont have the urges to buy a Xenon(any one see a name resemblance to the intel Xeon?)
