I've got about 2700 on sniping atm, so basically I log in thursday, do a 5 kill streak, then a 6 kill streak, and I've got plat. =/ Kinda lame. I would have liked them to keep the higher end hard to reach.

They should've just moved some of the kills needed for the lower ranks (Qual, Bronze and possibly silver) to platinum and gold. same kills are required, and its more n00by friendly, however it still retains prestige for those higher merrits.
