Ming Kuang Chen, 35, had been the subject of a widespread search after he failed to return to his restaurant Friday with $200 in receipts.

i've been stuck in an elevator once, but for like 10 minutes, then it got working again. 4 days in an elevator isn't easy, WOW...that sucks.

I feel so bad for city-bound chinese guys. They're always getting shot, mugged, or involved in other personal calamity.

I wonder how long he was stuck in there before the time perception went dead. Then again, I guess the watch helped.

Just saw this tory on the news, apparently he called the Maintenance people from a phone on the elevator but since he couldn't speak english for shit they didn't understand him. Hopefully he learned a lesson.

Acctualy I think he gave up after the first try. Youd think he would be alot more persistant. Also who would be charged with man slaughter? I mean they didnt respond, what if the guy died.

i wish a chinese resturant near me was named the "Happy Dragon".
Other than that, i'll assume that the building was too old for him to force the doors open and escape.

:In Chinese: "Help! I'm stuck in an elevator! You need to get me out of here!"

Maintenance worker: "Sorry man, no clue what in hell you're saying. Call back when you've got someone to translate." :Hangs up:
