Ok Whiners, Listen up!!

Once upon a time......

Hamma created a forum. When he started the site he took on a few of his friends as help in getting things going. One of the first subjects that was brought up was what rules should be set on the forum, and how they should be enforced.

Some of the staff felt that we whould come up with a long list of rules and post them in 1000's of stikied threads like some other Overmoderated Planetside Information site that shall remain nameless.

After much disscussion we came to the agreement that we wanted PSU to fall somewhere between "The Anarchy that is Tribalwar.com, and the Gayness that is Tribe2.org", and for a very long time we were achiving that goal.

Then the whine bags showed up. People that post "This thread should be locked", "Hamma should ban so, and so". Well let me tell you all something. your fucking this place up more then the trolls are. I never thought I'd live to see the day that Hamma took the site one step closer to becoming that other Planetside Information site by posting a Sticky about aceptable use in the forums.

Good job guys. Your making a great place to post and express your own opinion into a sheep farm where if you have a diffrent opinion your flamed.

These are the only things someone should get banned for:

Posting Porn
Warz

No crawl down off your high horces and go post in the Game Disscussion forum if you don't like it here in the lounge, but for gods sake get off Hamma's back before you convince him to fuck it up fpor everyone.

FYI Squeeky, Unreg is one of the original Founding Members of this Fine site you like to call Home. He has also a member of the clan you just joined for well over 3 years now.

You see the Contributor under his name? that means he also Paid money out of his own pocket for this site to function.

What he was doing was restating the rules of the board and his opinion of what he has seen the board come too... not post an invitation for flames from a troll.

Honestly this was directed at several people when I posted it.

Admitadly Squeeky was one. Dio was another (he's the one that always wants threads locked), Nav was another (although I like Nav a lot, I hate seeing it sugested that anyone be banned), and most importantly this was directed at Hamma.

When I got to the forum today the first thing i saw was his sticky, and it turned my stomuck. We specifically made a point when we started NOT to post rules in Stickys because we wanted to give people a place where they were free to speak their minds unlike PSI (where I got warned for saying TribalWar in my first post ever).

If any of you have ever visited that forum, or posted there you'll know how very diffrent things are here, but in every post I read this morning someone was calling for something to either be locked or Banned.

With Hamma's sticky we have all started down a dark path where we will all be censored. If you keeping begging for harsher rules, and more Nazism in the forum don't be surprised when you get it.

Unreg, thanks for being an adult. I do stand by my opinions that our three trolls should be banned. But that's my opinion.

I think we all like Unreg. Normally arguments, from what I've seen, never really change a "relationship"(word seems off but I can't think of anyhting else) between two PSU people. I like all the peopel Unreg mentioned and I like Unreg too. All have been friendly and I consider friends now. BTW, you got warned for saying TribalWar?...heh

I didn't want to create that announcment, no one person pushed me to do it. But last week when we were getting hammered with new members due to our dev interview we had a whole bunch of new people spamming, the warning had to be issued.

I still take a sort of laid back approach to moderating - but the line HAD to be drawn as of late.

I think This forum would be a better place If we banned all the Non Vanu (yes Hamma, this includes you, damn TR sympathiser).

Also, Vanu who did not agree with me would have to be banned.

We would also have to randomly ban people, 1 a day would be good, to keep up the fear. Once a month we could do a purge and ban the half the users.

Also any threads that disagree with me or say anything anti Vanu should be not only locked but deleted. We would follow such a deleting with a inqusition to find all who harbored simular anti Vanu sentiments and ban them.
