Yeh great book, movie had some reallllllly nice potential, but tom hanks isnt who i would have chose. idk who i would have picked but prob not him, hees just to stiff.
It's not the stiff part that worries me-i think Hanks will have trouble working outside of the comedy element. That, and he's how old?

Yes, actually, I have, but your assertion was that Tom Hanks was only good inside comedy movies. I actually didn't like Saving Private Ryan as much as some other war films (Yeah, 20 American soldiers taking on a platoon of Germans), but it's often regarded as a good film.

Never read the book, but heard its good.
I on the other hand like Tom Hanks and.....well i never read the book so.....i have faith in him, they choose him for a reason, lets have them prove it shall we?
