i just ordered me a Dell Inspiron XPS Gen2, they got great reviews.

ill post pics when it arrives in 3 weeks.

woot, justt got it today and it works great, very nice screen, insanly powerful for a laptop, if your going to get a laptop in the near future get the dell XPS gen2

haha, yea my room is dirty =( i payed $3600 canadian for it =( well worth it but still alot, and it can run doom 3 at 1600 x 1200 at high settings at 65 FPS, and HL2 at 1900 x 1200 with max settings at 50-100 FPS.

wow, just read the review 9n PCGamer for the Gen 2, pretty nice system judging from benchmarks, and nice battery life too

Since this thread has been resurrected anyway, I'd like to know: is the fact that you ave a mobile CPU as opposed to a desktop model noticeable? I mean, is the performance still good?

Pentium 4 mobiles are much better performers than thier desktop counter parts. Hence why they are working towards using thier cores in future desktop cpus.

pentium M > all, serously though, both my laptop and desktop are cloked as the same speeds processor wise, 2.0 GHz, and my laptops pentium M outpreforms my P4 by a long shot.
