I just acquired the new Gorillaz CD and I must say it's more then I expected. They keep the same style the fan base is used to but it somehow feels different... overall I reccomend it!

/random post with no real critic but alot of people I know didnt even know they recently made an album.

More of us want to know why they would waste everyones time with a new waste of airspace.

Gorillaz are a band most know for their song "Clint eastwood"... you probably heard it or seen one of their videos, they don't show themselves to the world and go around making cartoon videos.

I've always been a Gorillaz fan, I'll have to check it out.

The thing that interests me most about the Gorillaz is that they don't ever seem to appear publically. I wonder if its a publicity stunt or if they're just REALLy ugly or something. In any case, they make pretty kickin' music.

Actually I think it's more like Slipknot's train of thought... unlike alot of artist they don't wanna be loved for their looks, so they take a new approach. That way, they don't get recognized and get harrased by the papparazi or anyone else for that matter...

I actually think they did a concert once... they made a big ass cartoon for the whole show and it got projected on giant screens for the crowd. But then again maybe I'm thinking of some other band...

I heard about that concert, they said people were dissapointed because they used a cartoon.

They are a studio band, why the fuck would they do a live show?

Studio musicians FTW. They are real musicians. They aren't paid to look pretty they are paid for their talent. And they are usually the nicest too. They don't have the "I'm a rock star!" mentality.

I picked this up last night and I think it's pretty good. All the songs are pretty unique and I like that. I didn't really like clint eastwood and whatever the first album was called, but this album is different.

Not a big fan, but i do like the song Clint Eastwood. Actually i just got 8 gigs of music from my cousin out in germany and he had some songs outa the Gorillaz, so they are a well known band i'd assume.

Just picked up it up today and gave it a once through. I liked most of it but felt some of it wasn't needed. Instead of having a 50 minute CD that's good they could have had a 40 minute CD that's great.

I do like their unique style.

I'm pretty sure that the "band" Gorillaz has no solid members. But rather each song is a calaboration of different musicians. Except for the dude from Blur and the other founder, the one who wrote Tank Girl(?)

I'm gonna go check out this new Album!
